Free web design is ver Don’t feel like spending so much cash on getting a website designed for your business? Don’t fret. Web designing is something that can be done for zero cost and not much effort. Free web design is very much possible, if you know what to look for. For any kind of business website design, there are thousands of free website templates available on the internet. You can indeed save a lot of money by doing the designing yourself. If the designing can be tackled, then all you will spend on is web hosting.
So how exactly do you go about a free web design? The first step is to look for free downloadable web templates. They are available in abundance and are available in all possible varieties. You should spend ample time to find one that suits your requirements. Inspect the template that catches your eye for ease of navigation. This is what is most important for a business website design. Like in a showroom, you will ensure your customers or potential customers find what they need with as little effort as possible, that’s exactly what you need to do for your business website. Because end of the day, the customer is king and you need to impress them by all means!
These downloadable free web design templates have one shortcoming. It may so happen that your website may not be unique as someone else may also use the same template. Therefore, a smart thing to do is to alter the template a bit. Say change few colors and layouts etc., to make your business website design stand out from the template. Many templates are compatible to outside sources also. In that case you can introduce other designing or functional elements to make business website design truly unique.
Apart from the free web design templates, you can purchase some online too. These are generally of better quality and design sense than the free ones, but of course, not always. There are some amazing business website design templates available online for free. So if you are running on a tight budget, spend time and find them from amongst the thousands of templates.
For the remaining part of your web development, it is always better to hire a professional unless you really possess a lot of knowledge about web hosting. So spending on a professional in this regard is more difficult to avoid. Additionally, your website may require constant up-gradations like monetization, Adsense, Pay per Click, etc.
Business website design is all about making an impact. So choose the words and photographs very carefully. Be extra careful not to send an unwanted signal. Use attractive photos which are related to your website’s theme and not just because they are attractive. Catchy text is the soul of your website. So make sure the text is extremely concise and grabs attention. Business websites are generally more sleek and simpler than other kinds of websites but ‘sleek’ and ‘simple’ is simply not synonymous with ‘boring’ here!

Create your own free website
Thanks to the rise of the interactive 'writeable' web open to all-comers anyone can make a mark online. Neither an overdraft nor design inexperience need be an obstacle.
To establish a reasonably strong online presence without paying a cent you just need minimal creativity, an enterprising streak and the right no-cost tool.
Once useful for building little except vanity blogs sprinkled with eye candy, free website creation tools have evolved, enabling the production of pages that look classy enough to serve a serious business. No designer required.
The hardest task is choosing the right utility from the swelling ranks.
Here are five of the most user-friendly free construction tools available, most of which are embedded in websites, making life easier still.
Google Sites (sites.google.com)
Google products typically ooze efficiency. True to form, once you have a Big G account set up, Google Sites just works and makes few demands on your technical savvy. A dream for anyone who wants to rig up a site at lightning speed, Google Sites is pretty much bug-free. Just skip jazzed-up themes like 'sunset', which recalls Windows clip art.
Weebly (www.weebly.com)
Drag-and-drop widget-based Weebly plays rather fast-and-loose with the idea of 'free'. Sign up for the standard no-charge version and you are only entitled to build a couple of sites without paying. Then the party is over and you must upgrade to Weebly Pro. Still, how many websites do you need? The basic two-shot Weebly version works adequately and displays handy graphs that show how much traffic you generate.
Wetpaint (www.wetpaint.com)
A colourful departure from the norm, Wetpaint lets you build a wiki a collection of web pages that a group can edit. During stage one ('the easy part'), you determine how much that visitors may tweak the design -- if at all.
Then, you only need worry about choosing a template ('the fun part') and opening an account. A cinch to manipulate, the collaborative tool presents a spectrum of templates with names like 'ghostgreen'. Wetpaint is so arty that you can almost smell the turps. That said, templates like 'midnightblue' convey a smart enough image for business.
WordPress (wordpress.org)
This contender clearly has no self-esteem issues. 'WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time,' the home page trumpets and defines the WordPress five-minute download as 'famous'. The question is why a weekend website warrior would bother to download and stuff around with a program, however feted. In contrast with its competitors, WordPress appears a touch high-maintenance. That said, if you are reasonably techy, WordPress might well hit the spot -- especially if you blog a bit. At wordpress.org's sister dotcom site, you can launch a bare bones dedicated blog in seconds.
Yola (www.yola.com)
Its cold old name SynthaSite consigned to oblivion, Yola attacks the assumption that website creation should be monopolised by the graphic designer brigade 'who breathe and dream code in Silicon Valley... Yola brings website building to the rest of us. Small businesses. Groups and organisations. Non-profits. Your Aunt Martha. The guy in the next cube. Everyone.' Well said. The accolades that Yola has won confirm its class act aura. Sure, like Weebly, Yola can be rickety, stalling sometimes. What's more, its interface is noticeably harder to handle than Google's. But Yola
dishes up greater variety 38 templates. Addictive.

LiquidNet Launches Free Template Project
Web hosting provider LiquidNet (www.liquidnetlimited.com) has launched Themza.com (www.themza.com), an online project aimed at offering a wide variety of free templates and web design themes for PHP script-based websites such as blogs, image galleries and content management systems as well as course management system Moodle.
According to LiquidNet’s Friday announcement, the company is continually adding new skins to the list of the Joomla templates, WordPress, Moodle and 4images themes.
LiquidNet chief executive officer Nick Blaskov said the skins are turn-key, yet highly customizable, and help create professional looking blogs and corporate homepages, content-rich e-learning portals, colorful online photo galleries.
Accoring to LiquidNet, its Moodle course management system templates let educators create an e-learning collaborative community website and deliver online courses, lessons, quizzes, assignments, surveys, workshops, instead of the traditional face-to-face courses. Using Moodle they would be able to build not only a single-teacher educational platform but also a multi-student online university portal, which could in a way replace attending the lectures in person.
In the near future, LiquidNet reports that Themza.com will start offering Drupal and Mambo content management templates.
Offering web hosting, reseller hosting and domain name registration services, LiquidNet reports that it supplies services to 450,000 webmasters.
